Yeah mine was from a locked fifth floor balcony at night. They could only have gotten in from the open balcony on the floor above, then lowered the bikes down. Mad skills!
I found the shitty beater bike on gumtree shortly after and forced the police to take it back by threatening to visit the guy myself with a bunch of friends. Never got my TI Raleigh Team back, but insurance paid out enough to soften the blow.

That reminds me of how @playswellwithotters 's bike was stolen a few years ago, although I think in his case it was from the fourth or fifth floor (?).
Hope the CCTV is useful.
