Depends entirely on how much you're carrying. The Tradesman can carry up to about 23kg before it starts feeling flexy due to the fact that the rack is attached to and supported by the frame. An Ahearne with a 44mm headtube can carry closer to 45kg before it gets noodley.
It's been my general experience that you can carry maybe 12kg on a traditional 700c/650/26" bike with a front rack that moves with the fork before it starts severely impacting the handling to point of being unridable.
