Supersix evo rear cable stop... I'm guessing its supposed to just slot into the hole?
It is rather loose and I'm finding it difficult to get the brake cable into a EE brake without the brake cable settling very far from the frame, to the point where I can feel it when pedalling.Nokon or Jagwire link outers the answer?
I have a 48cm frame, so this may be making the problem worse (short brake cable length) -

I had to use Nokon / Jagwire links type cable to get the routing into my EE calipers front and back in an acceptable way, especially the rear

Ok, paying £50+ on cable outers is horrifying but I guess that will be on the cards at some point...

it is an unfortunate requirement of running EEs on a SuperSix in my experience, the front one is equally troublesome as if you don't have a long enough, flexible enough cable outer it makes the right hand pad wear out quicker than the left on the front caliper

If you've shelled out enough for a SuperSix and EE's then you can treat yourself to some posh cables too ;)

Not a Hi-mod, but I see your point.

Those 4 arm cranks though.....not good

That's a smart hack!

• #11360
doesn't have to suck
-
• #11361
Better, I'll never like how 4 bolt cranks look though

Someone stole my CAAD12 from my balcony at home. :(
London E10 (or anywhere) peeps. Please keep your eyes peeled for this. Exactly as pictured but with an added NLTCBMBC fendor bendor mudguard and fabric reader light. Great timing before tomorrow’s event, I don’t have time for this shit...

Oh no! Motherfuckers. Hope you get it back!

• #11367
ahh shit rob, what floor?
-
• #11368
2nd floor but no neighbours below, just an archway to the road. It's a good 10-12 metres to my balcony. Must've been confident on a ladder or something.
-
• #11369
That really really sucks, that’s some serious thief commitment...
-
• #11370
Well. Fuck.
-
• #11371
Damn! Will keep an eye out. Such a nice bike.
Now for a question in my own interest. Does anybody ride a 25.4 Cannondale Save Carbon seat post? Is it worth the extra money in terms of comfort?
-
• #11372
really sorry to hear that :(
-
• #11373
I had the 27.2 version on my MTB and yes, they are comfy. I can tell, because the dropper I replaced it with feels pretty rigid in comparison.

Etap?
Is the 'rapha bidon in the more aero position' the new way of spotting LFGSSers in the wild?
what's this monstrosity ?
