Really?!? Where can you get good tort these days anyway? Most of it looks so cheap compared to the old stuff...

Actually I'm not sure about black body-black pickups-tort pickguard. Pickups have to be white for it to work:

But I also don't think black-white-black looks that good.

Black pickguard instead.

I think all strats should be Olympic White (and on very rare occasions Fiesta Red)... But I hate them with a passion so what do I know...

I like the Black / Black, 70s headstock look but I much prefer it with the maple neck.
