DT Swiss 350s hubs on my road wheels, 12x100 and 12x142 thru axle . I'd like to get new skewers that don't have the QR-cam on them...DT makes these right? Is there a cheaper/better option?
I'm so out of my depth!

I had fixed levers on my thru axles. Replaced with generic hex thru axles from the orient for under £30 (a set).
Note: Make sure the thread pitch are the same as the ones you already own. -

Anyone run 160mm rotors on a Mason Resolution?
Is there some magic to getting the adapter lined up?
Anyone have "10mm frame" caliper bolts? -

Have often read on 'ere that cheap hydro disc brakes outperform a good cable disc brake.
Does that extend even to the cheapest of the cheap? I've heard Clarks M2 are decent for the price, would Shimano MT210 also fall into that category? Or is it worth spending £20 or so extra for M355 / M395?
Won't be doing anything too hardcore really, mainly commuting with the occasional off road foray.

also let this be a lesson to me .. if it says resin pads only on shimano rotor, don't buy fancy sintered pads

Which ones say that?

DBAD due to user error?

Lots of cheap ones!

Which ones say that?
It's usually written on the box and on the rotor itself, they're on the cheaper rotor.

Currently building a Cotic X frame up (which has IS disc mounts - see here: https://www.cotic.co.uk/product/x). I know I need to get post-mount disc brakes but can someone advise which adapters I need to use for 160 rotors please? I am going round in circles. Thanks in advance

I've got those Clarks M2 - doing a great job. Definitely better than cable pull.
Was a challenge to find a rear with left hand lever a few months back.
For the price, you get fully bled system, rotors, IS to PM adaptor and every bolt you could need to put it all together. Also get a spare olive for hose shortening - which is a doddle.
£20 a piece is madness.

What size rotors do you plan to run?
If it's 160 front and 140 rear then 2 of these: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F303120798087
If it's 180 front and 160 rear then 2 of these:

Another shout for M2s, I've got one on the polo bike and they're decent. Maybe change the pads for shimano ones.

My discs stopped screaming after I took a small tour. I got back, cleaned the bike (incl with Muc Off Brand Disc Brake Cleaner) and they've started screaming again.
Kill me.

It'll be gone once you start riding again.
Squeak happens for newly cleaned rotors, it is just like a new rotor and you'll need to bed it in but it much quicker.

As @coventry_eagle said. It always does that when I clean my bike, I always put that down to me putting soapy water all over the place. It goes away quite quickly.
I guess that’s one of the reasons I don’t clean my bike very often...
