Seems that the owner before Kluens cut the straps, so Kluens wasn't aware. But should still refund IMO, as the bag has been functionally altered.

Seems reasonable that @sterobe would expect to return the bag. Why not? What’s the problem with being nice about it? What’s your motive for being unreasonable?

Agreed; go on @Kluens, it's the weekend. "sorry about the misunderstanding; realise that we both, initially, acted in good faith - sorry for inconvenience, happy to draw a line under it - send it back and I'll refund straight away" or something similar?

If I’d sold the fucked bag without knowing it’s fucked, I’d refund the buyer if they wanted their money back. Its a dick move to take the money. Sellers should know and be clear about the things they are selling blah blah

Good news. I sold the bag to a lovely bloke from the forum and got my money back. It fit his frame nice!
Was a nice bag, so on the look out for something similar. Someone mentioned Restrap earlier, so will check them out.

I'd say it was unreasonable not to refund for return, but I don't think the seller was under any obligation to do so.

Sounding off about someone not replying for 8 hours is a bit weak, and I guess he told you already that he considered it done and was not going to refund.

(opinion based on original seller not cutting the straps in the first place)
