Yeah like. @mdcc_tester said it's already too far gone.
I love the idea of an expanding seat-post but they're all 3–5 times what I paid for the frameset itself, so glue is the frontrunner right now.

I have bodged a normal seat post expandable with a steerer expander plugs and some work.
It’s a bit cumbersome to use, but it works.
I can elaborate at some point, but I am a bit busy these days so allow some time. The main part is you need to start with a seat post with an open top if you know what I mean.

Drilling a small hole at the apex of the crack will prevent it from cracking any further. Consider it before glueing that seat post in.
