  • I like my Cambium. but it's obviously not just the saddle, but also position--I take it that it wasn't your new (beater) bike you rode on but one that you've adjusted well/had bikefitted?

    It's said that you have to 'break in' leather saddles whether a Cambium 'works' right away--don't know if that's propaganda, though.

    Do you know what sort of saddle width/shape you need? There are quite a few C varieties on offer now. Some you wouldn't get in most bike shops but would have to order, I think.

  • This was on a bike/saddle set up I cycled through Central America on, and the saddle did me fine for Quintuple Ironman on another bike. Reckon part of the issue may have been the trail shoes I was wearing - had a very thick sole and may have affected my position. That said, it's a lovely old Colnago saddle I've had forever, but it is leather and I'm looking to phase out any old leather stuff that's still kicking around.
