I take your point but it’s worse now that Middle Eastern states are sponsoring sports teams.

My point was badly worded. But is it worse than when super powers used sport as a propaganda tool? At least the gulf states aren’t getting teenage girls pregnant in the name of sport.

I remember seeing someone on Twitter trying to protest that art funded by business or wealthy patrons should be boycotted and an art historian weighed in with "you may want to sit down"

I enjoyed two paragraphs in particular:
