A bit of a shock to the system anyway. No excuse not to go balls to the wall when itโs only gonna be 30 mins of effort. I definitely need some higher intensity hill sessions though. Legs were absolute jelly almost instantly.
Looking forward to Coniston on Saturday. Had a good run last year until I missed the last turn and had to climb down and up a ravine to regain the race ๐
The long, fast and technical descent is mega fun.

31st, Midday start. 4 day break now then kind of on a continued wind down, rightly or wrongly.
Those shorter fell races sound painful, the gaps on the ups & downs are much more important too I guess as less chance to close on the flat bits.
