While I think that some of this shows people having too much energy to distract themselves from caring about real problems, the bizarre 'controversy' about female body hair is certainly interesting in being symptomatic of sexist attitudes:

Just let people wear/trim/whatever their hair how they want. It couldn't really be simpler.
