I had wondered if I needed to order some helicoils at the same time.
@mdcc_tester - you might have a bright idea on this one....
I have a thread I'd like to clean/chase an M8 hole but there is an object (an exhaust) in the way so I can only get less than a 1/4 turn on it.
Is there a safe way to extend the chasing bit(?) by 10cm?
