  • At least...at least...at least it still has rim brakes.

  • Terrible colour probably doesn't help

  • at least it still has rim brakes.

Those curves in the cable right before the rear caliper look good

  • Need to stock up on CAAD12 frames then.

  • Didn't someone say that all graphics etc is now done by what was Charge Bikes in the UK?

  • Hoops knows the skinny I think.

  • I think it was more that Charge was swallowed under the unbrella which is also Cannondale and they have somewhat merged. I don't think they've sacked Cannondale's own design team and swapped in Charge's.

  • Who the fuck chose to paint it flesh colour? And what's with the random fade only in the middle of the fork?

  • I don't think they've sacked Cannondale's own design team and swapped in Charge's.

I think they have, in the sense that it's unlikely there was a 'team' working on the pain / graphics design side of things, probably just a director and various freelance resources. That director role became vacant and was offered to the Charge guy, but he didn't want to go to the US, so he's working directing a mixture of old US freelance and new UK freelance guys.

I suspect. Could be completely wrong.

  • It looks like burnt meat.

  • I suspect. Could be completely wrong.

I was guessing totally so you're probably right

  • hmmm rare pork

  • RIP Cannondale

  • i like it. got an sl6 vibe about it.

    plus mudguards!

  • Wow, that is terrible. Will be keeping my CAAD10 for the forseeable!

  • Cannondale heading off piste, and forgetting one of the three reasons why people actually buy their bikes - the classic geometry.

  • the others being instagram likes and fiddly proprietary parts?

  • Essentially yes, but they refer to them as "innovation" and "gold standard"

  • the classic geometry

the geo on that still looks pretty "classic" , the TT looks flat

  • Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Cannondale :(

  • Lavished some upgrades on the old SuperSix. Bought the frameset off ebay in 2012 and it'd been running on Ultegra 6800 and Fulcrum 3's since then.

Really pleased with how well it took Di2 considering there's absolutely no internal routing. Biggest win was the drainhole under the bottom bracket which I wanted to use for the seatpost battery, large enough for the cable but not the connector. After deciding that making the hole bigger probably wasn't a great idea, I bravely cut the cable and threaded it through and up the seat tube before soldering it back together. Much relief that it actually worked.
