^ I nearly maxed out the gamma on my screen. Shame because some of the brighter scenes probably would've looked good. The brightness has been a problem for me constantly in this and the last series.

Just really poor writing though. All the cleverness and thematic stuff of the early series/books thrown away in favour of tropey badass stuff. Hope GRRM finishes the books before he dies.

Massive spoilers, do not click unless you've see it
9 years since I first started reading the books and to have the major plot line ended after 2 filler episodes and 1 80-minuter, no real casualties, and an incredibly poorly-written finale. Awful. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed with a TV series. Normally I'd have stopped watching but the risk of spoilers is too great.

I will say this, it's definitely not boring though.

I wish I knew how to do that hiding spoilers trick so I could have a full blown rant. But I’ll settle for just saying, I agree completely.
