I've had an ortlieb messenger for the last 8(?) years and it hasn't let me down.
See if you can get a copy that has somewhere to clip a rear light.

That sounds like proper quality, cheers :)

I’ve been using Timbuk2’s for decades now, have never used anything else. I only use panniers on my pub bike or e-bike when I’m off shopping or have a shitload of parts to take to work.

Yes, but where would this forum be with people answering the questions that are asked rather than the questions that they want to answer?
@SwissChap Bigxtop are decent (you may need a separate laptop sleeve, mine doesn't have one but it might be an option). Decent size, pretty comfy, waterproof and designed to be unobtrusive whilst riding.

Will they fit?
Depends on the size of the tyre, and your tolerance for the risk involved in having less clearance than the recommended minimum.

I think the rear looks okay for a couple mm - more concerned about the fork but that's swappable if I can be bothered. It's one of those Oval R900 aero forks though which I quite like the design of
Currently running vittoria but may switch for conti - just don't know how their respective sizing works out

Everybody is all over the place. I've had 25C Contis which are bigger than 28C Vittorias, for whatever that's worth

My Lezyne Zecto is no longer displaying charging lights when plugged in and at the same time is getting warm. I've tried a number of different leads. Is it goodnight for this previously trusty light?

I'll have a look into manufacturer sizing then as if conti are generally large in size then 25mm might be good.
Thanks for the input

Will mounting some Shimano 105 Sl-1055 7-Speed Index Shifters to some Jtek Special Thumb Shifter brackets work with a Shimano 105 RD-1055?

Agree.
If you don't mind the lack of internal dividers these are useful bags.
Lightweight too.I have a messenger and the smaller velocity, both are great.
Fuck panniers..

Also agree.

Any suggestions for best penetrating fluid?
Is PlusGas still better than the WD40 penetrating stuff?
In case it maters it's for a steel (probably stainless) bolt in an alu casing.

Plus gas FTW.

• #96745
Plus gas and heat I would say

As everybody else says, you're probably not going to beat PlusGas. What they're not telling you is that even that probably won't work for a stainless screw that has got well stuck in an aluminium housing, in the sense that the housing will be wrecked by the time you get the screw out regardless of which method you use.

Work with Campagnolo Centaur 10 Speed?
i.e. the reverse of something like this? https://www.totalcycling.com/en/Campagnolo-Steel-Freehub-Body-For-Shimano-891011-Speed---R1137139-17mm-alloy-axle/m-19018.aspx

Or a jtek shiftmate
I'd go with an SQR slim. Big enough for a laptop and doesn't sag.
