Worth keeping in mind Veloflex Masters.
That a whole different tyres compare to the like of the GP4000sii, Corsa etc.

Not in tubeless
Okay yeah fair enough, might go for that in the future if I'm happy with tubed 30mm.

Same debate I was having. Currently rolling on 30mm G-ones tubeless and they're great at low PSI, but need something new. It was either Strada Biancas or these.

30mm g one still awesome, the other option is the GP5000 in 32mm, not cheap tho.
-

GP5000
Not really a fan to be honest, and I can only do 30mm max. To be fair, the Controls aren't cheap either. Ride quality for the win though.

The GP4000sII were my go-to tyres for everything, especially the 28mm that come up bigger, so I can only presume that the new one is much improved especially with tubeless in 28mm.
It's one of those weird thing where I'm happy with my existing tyres yet gone for a different manufacturer for the lols.

Corsa Control 30mm tubeless - no tanwall
G One Speed 30mm tubeless - no tanwall
Ritchey Alpine WCS 30mm tubeless - no tanwall
Specialized anything 30 tubeless in tanwallThis makes me sad

Do continental sport contact II come up large? Small? Trying to wedge the largest tyre I can into my genesis flyer for summer (ostensibly space for a 32mm if its accurate/ on the small side)
-
• #6238
Get continental grand Prix race in 32c. Best cheap tires
-
• #6239
But the sport contacts are #10 on planet x right now, and I can't find grand prix race tyres, only grand sport race.
-
• #6240
Mine measured up 38mm when they said they were 42mm. On the same rims, 38mm GK SKs measured as 38mm.
-
• #6241
My bad, is grand sport race. Still great tires
-
• #6242
Anyone tried the Corsa G 2.0? My rear OG G Corsa has lost all tread from its middle after 3000km.
-
• #6243
I have a pair lying, I can mount and measure later today?
How wide is your rim? -
• #6244
I have a 25mm set waiting for the rims that are currently pending in customs for over a week. Will report once I have been able to test, but that could take some time...
-
• #6245
Oh that would be very sweet of you. My rims are 17mm. How do you find them? Any good? I'm mostly tempted by the price if I'm honest.
-
• #6246
17mm internal, right?
I’ve never ridden them, but they were cheap so bought a pair :) -
• #6247
I've done tours, gravel things, 400km audaxes, general commuting, club riding, etc on a pair and they're good at everything. I've never spent more than £30 on a tyre so, I may be missing something that spenny tyres offer, but I think they're great for the money.

Also road tubeless (28mm and under) makes very little sense even for the n00bs like us.
Oh.
Well, how does one tell you this... -
• #6249
They were £9.99 with 30% off not so long back.
-
• #6250
At max pressure (95psi) they’re exactly 32mm on a rim that’s 17mm wide internally.
At 60psi they’re 31.6. So pretty true to size in that size.
My 42’s are 39mm wide
There's black and tan wall version tho? (and tubeless too).
