  • I was looking at the purple one but got a cracking deal on the older one so was a no brainer as had a group set ready to go on it

  • Pre bar tape, stem and stack tweeks

  • That looks great. And I know how nicely it will ride. Enjoy!!

  • Cheers. It’s a smasher alright. Buttery smooth.

  • Anyone heard of anyone fitting the disc version of the futura fork onto this? I guess only for the fixed version to run a front brake only but could be cool as they are exactly the same geo

  • Not just cool, basically I am sick of having to get new wheels built when the rim wears out, plus the anodising wearing off looks lame

  • No but don’t see a reason why not. Could always go carbon for anodising issue

  • Plumped for some deep sections for it now too. Steerer to cut and chucks away.

  • I think im gonna buy this frameset, how do you like it?
I have the fixed version and im really tempted on a road version

  • Anyone tried the superstar?

  • Yes I own a rim brake version. It's an excellent ride and great value. It feels a fair bit quicker than the Vigorelli road I also own which is mainly down to weight and stiffness I guess.

Vigorelli is fun for planning your pedal strokes while cornering, with the BB sitting higher.

Both frames come with a Columbus Futura fork by the way.

  • Nice one. Reviews are very good, does seem a great value bike.

  • I used a vigorelli road weekly for nearly 2 years actually, solid bike tbh, love the bb hight, but the novelty of riding a track bike position got old as it’s to long n low for a all day roadie, had to use hella spacers to make it useable, riding it slammed just felt stupid.

  • Watched someone on one of these nearly rear-end a car trying to blast past me down a hill. He got some wicked speed wobble right before too! Highlight of my commute home.

  • Couldn’t of been me as it’s never gave me speed wobble

  • Hi, does anyone know what size headset the 2018 electric steel frameset uses? I’m currently building one up but it’s missing the bottom part of headset bearings. Any help greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

  • Here’s some info about the Electric steel headsets from Cinelli. I used a Chris King inset 7 instead.
