The reverse brake lever seem to have less leverage then a traditional flat bar lever, worse braking. The VO ones also seem a bit rattle-ey.

Mine are Dia Comp... the original levers are quite basic as it is. Sure I'll give them a go and they can always be changed back...

Ended up going with the original size... 28's. Maraothons...
My trusty Charge is still going after almost 10 years. I'm putting a King Carrier on and think it's a good time to put wider tyres on... I'm still on 28's, similar to the original, just wondering if anyone has experience with the Tap, a plug or something else with a 'Whisk' front fork. What's the maximum width of tyre I could try... Also recommendations on a good tyre to carry a load and a bit of commuting?
I'm doing some more to get her into shape as a load bearing bike... Velo Orange Montmartre bars, reverse brake levers etc... Should be a bit of craic.
