Bullit specific stuff is ridiculously expensive for what it actually is in my opinion. Making a DIY wooden box is super easy if you've got access to some basic tools.
Here's a pdf with some instructions some generous person uploaded to the net.
However keeping it simple isn't my style so we got cracking in the Fista cave a few weeks ago with my bro @bankiren working on this. It's made from 100% recycled materials which is a bonus (read free). Needs a pass with the heatgun and then bolting everything down with round head bolts and rubber u channel placed all around the metal frame. It'll also have a panel on the right side to hold smaller objects and some attachment points to strap things down and attachment for my kids balance bike. It's work in progress but I like the industrial look. Weight isn't too bad either 5,6kg all in but it'll end up closer to 6kg with all the hardware installed.
I've also cut some standard side panels, similar to the OEM ones, out of an old road sign and some other wooden ones. It's good to have options, right?
