I'm thinking we may need to do that.
Someone else suggested old engine oil. Which as we're going for a dark grey for the fences I wonder if we should have done that instead.
That sounds exceptionally flammable...
Used engine oil is considered pretty toxic. It could take quite a while to dry and in the meantime might find it's way into the water table. It's probably no worse than creosote though.
