  • I use two websites, ipostparcels.com (owned by DHL) and senditnow.com (owned by Royal Mail/Parcelforce) for EU postage of bikes. I concur with others, box size is important. That said, I've been told that these couriers rarely double check measures.

  • Thanks man. The only time I posted a bike internationally was probably 8 or so years ago and remember being well over on the length dimension of the box and assuming it would incur some penalty but it didn't. Can't remember who that was with though and don't seem to have a record of it on any emails.

  • The only time I've had issues with dimensions is from one post office. I now always use parcelforce directly and drop off at the depot. They've never had an issue with even huge bike boxes (which exceed the volume allowed).
