For sure. I am well happy, and will be even happier when I have fine-tuned all the niggles.
Apart from the turning circle of a lorry, this thing handles a lot like a regular bike which is a massive bonus. I bombed down one of the shallow inclines home unladen and noticed a bit of speed wobble on the front end, so I can appreciate why they market those steerer dampener kits. I removed the one bought for the diy box bike, but need to drill a crown hole in the on-one forks to use it (or bodge a jubilee clip solution).
For bulky loads I can totally appreciate the box bike solution, but for me I think I’ll make killer use of this longtail. Result.
Looks like you've got a belter bike now, feeling jealous
Mines strengthened and built up, rides o.k but turns like an oil tanker, some how need to make the box a bit lighter, was gonna throw my bike in the box and ride home but feeling nervous in 5pm traffic
