  • Dizzy penalties.

Run around the pen spot with their head down, 10 revolutions (or more), then Kick the ball!

  • @cornelius_blackfoot further to your list, think that we need to replace Rose, probably Trips, and def Aurier.

  • Would keep rose, when he’s fit he’s one of our better players and I love his agginess (see his hand off of Fernandinho), doubt we’d offload 3 of 4 of our starting fullbacks.

Also read somewhere afterwards, that it’s a bit of a pipe dream to expect levy to loosen the purse strings to that extent to buy 4-6 players, especially at current market prices, and when we also need to improve the numbers of homegrown players as well (british/English player tax).

  • Sign 4-6 players, fuck up team dynamics.

  • Probably why you should be buying 1-2 new players and if the youth team allows, incorporating 2-3 youth teamers, every season so you’re not having to splurge to replenish the team/squad.
Strategic transfer thinking requires a director of football probably..

  • Agreed, and don't know why they named him when they did having already stated they wouldn't name a manager until the season was over. That's not to say results at the time he was appointed weren't excellent, just they had a get out of jail free card which they no longer do

  • If you want a laugh, LUFC twitter is great fun at this moment in time. #schadenfraude

  • Thought we'd made life incredibly difficult for ourselves with the result at Stoke. Enjoyed watching Brentford, now it's just a point required against Blackburn at home next week...

Would be absolute jokes if Ipswich did us a hand earlier in the day against Sheffield United too!

  • Just switched on the Chelsea/Burnley game. WTAFIGO?

  • It's been a lively first half hour. I fear Hazard may prove to be the difference though.

  • Hazard is very special. But you have them rattled. And nothing to lose.

Love this stage of the season.

  • If you were at United, who would you keep and who would you sell?

    Keep:
    De Gaea

If you could somehow get Herrera and Mata as one player, I'd keep them.
Can someone explain pogba to me without being like the btl comments on the guardian?

  • 4.5 hours of trains, late to kickoff and missed both goals, no beer at the ground, 75 minutes of shit football, somehow not relegated but still bottom of the table. I'd feel lucky to do it all again next year.

  • Does that mean that Sarri is banned for the rest of the season? Let's hope so.

I would personally have categorised calling an Italian a "shit Italian" a racial slur. Not that he isn't shit but coupling that word with the word Italian is racially pejorative. At least Burnley supporters desisted from their usual homophobia. Perhaps the message is getting through.

  • I'd love to be able to say I can't believe we messed up last night but I can believe we messed up... Dumbasses...

  • I am and always will be a Fan of Rose, especially as I was lucky enough to be (working for BT) standing pitch side in the tunnel, when he scored his wonder goal on his debut.. one of so many incredible memories. But I am just not sure whether he really wants to be at the club anymore..

  • I'm less inclined to want too many players to leave, perhaps only Aurier, Jansen and N'Koudou in terms of clearing out then replaced with a top quality 1st XI signing, a steady-eddie squad player and one for the future. Of the starting XI, obviously if any/all of TA, Rose and Eriksen go they'd need like for like replacement

  • Some entertaining whinging from David Luiz and Chelsea. These "big" clubs seem to get really upset when the smaller clubs don't just let them win.

He doesn't seem to realise that complaining that Burnley only had two chances (putting aside the fact that was bollocks and Wood should have scored a third) and scored two goals doesn't reflect too well on the Chelsea defence ...

  • @Pasty_Spumante, I hope that Levi and probably more importantly Lewis realise that with Chelski and possibly City with Transfer bans, and Utd probably in Europa, this window is probably one of the few opportunities when Spurs could actually bring absolutely top class players to the Club.

  • this window is probably one of the few opportunities when Spurs could actually bring absolutely top class players to the Club.

    LOLZ

  • "Lionel, I know. You have won everything ever. But, do you know you could move to WHL?"

  • Chelski

Why do you associate Chelsea with Poland?

  • Macc are now my closest league team and I’ve been to watch them a bit this season. It’s a bleak situation down there alright and you wouldn’t wish relegation on anybody.

Notts County and Yeovil look so inept that Macc might not need many more points to stay up.

I’d like Macc to stay up but they’re really not a league club when you consider they can’t get 2,000 in to most home games unless away fans come and bolster the attendance.

  • @cornelius_blackfoot
I’m looking forward to the London derby at your place on Saturday.
You’ve gotta lot of games over the next week of which this’ll be the middle.
West Ham have put out some woeful displays over the past month but I think deserved more from the Leicester and Man Utd games (a few iffy ref decisionsaway from that escaping 7th place).

I’d also love to start a good record of results at your new place.
