Sounds like a good mix. Maybe use DT hubs in case you want to switch to a microspline driver down the line.

also, should I clamp the dropper stanchion on the work stand or ST?

ST if you can. Dropper as a last resort if you have highly profiled tubes. Use a clean rag to prevent it from being scratched.

DT hubs a great if you've got more than one set of wheels and want to change cassettes, you can swap them over without any tools.

Currently buying a second hand SID RCT3 Solo Air for my Kona Unit, very curious how it will compare to riding rigid. €220 seems to be a good price, and a friend has offered to help me with servicing it. At ~1500 grams claimed weight just a smidge heavier than my P2 forks.

No proprietary stuff like Cannondale Scalpel or Specialized Epic Evo.

@TvH I have my eye on a DT hub on ebY but can't work out if it will defo be able to run a 15mm axle, its qr at the mo (350, 6 bolt disc)
