I am going M9000 shifter and mech, 1150 XD cassette (10-42) with those sram cranks and 30t direct mount chainring, KMC/SRAM chain for now, will somehow de-brand the cranks ..

Sounds like a good mix. Maybe use DT hubs in case you want to switch to a microspline driver down the line.

To add to what @tvh is saying

DT hubs a great if you've got more than one set of wheels and want to change cassettes, you can swap them over without any tools.
