I noticed today that I’m getting a bit of rearward deflection and juddering under heavy braking with the crosscheck fork on my Pomp.
I have a Steamroller fork too that I thought I could try on it but I guess it’s unlikely it’ll be much better eh?
Guess if I want stiffer then I’ll probably have to go carbon.
Does it move on the drop out?
Yeah, the whole fork flexes so the dropouts sort of judder back and forth.
I’ve not noticed it before. But was riding some pretty steep switchbacky descents today so was braking more heavily than normal.
