Actually. You could put a break in the outer near the bars and it would be fine. I was fooling myself with their pic of v brakes on the sjs site

No I think you were right in the first place, that splitter wouldn't work because it needs to move relative to the outer, which means you need at least a few cm of exposed cable. So that's my plan for my own bike out the window as well! What a numpty I am

They come with that, a spare hanger and some other bolts and bits if I remember right
-

Yes, a wallet of the parts info and owners manual should be with the bike.
Sometime it's not always included as they may get stored or thrown away
, as some people just put the owner manual in without additional part. -

Enjoy.
Did it come with any upgraded components or 100% Apex?
I've changed seat post (for inline) on mine and swapped for flared bars.
(-) I found the pretty paintwork to be fragile with already some missing. Those shifters seem to be at a weird angle even though the bars are near horizontal.
-
• #7785
No, all Apex.
I'm using a slightly shorter stem than usual (it's a medium frame)ditched the supplied stem for
a 100mm 0° X4 also replaced the alloy seat pin with a carbon layback. The photo angle isn't doing me any favours but in my defence it was fresh out of the box. A more agreeable bar angle has been achieved!
Sorry to hear about the thin paint, not ideal. Will helitape with gusto as is my fussy want!

I took my (new to me) Plug on a sunset run on a record breaking Easter Weekend. It's usually snowing in Scotland at Easter so sunburn instead, was nice.

Such a good bike, shame Charge have gone away since 2017.

Wierd that, did anyone ever work out what's happened to them?
-
• #7789
That's easy. Motorcycle racing has been doing those for a while now and they undergo a lot of pressure.

Unconfirmed: Charge Bikes no longer making bikes? (Spoiler, they still are – see the response below…)
singletrack newsdesk
No more Charge Bikes, at least that’s the rumour.
According to Singletrack Forum member, Funkmasterp, Charge Bikes is no longer producing bikes and don’t plan to for the near future. The revelation comes after an email exchange with the company asking when the new Cleaver would be available, the answer seems to be “it won’t”. We’re waiting to hear back from Charge Bikes for the official response.Update! We’ve just heard back from Nick at Charge Bikes. He says that, contrary to forum speculation, they’ve not stopped making bikes – though some models might not be available at the moment. And while they have had a bit of a quiet year this year, there are some exciting plans lined up for the future.

Charge/Fabric were bought by CSG a while ago. CSG is part of Dorel, Dorel also own Cannondale. Nick Larsen (who who was lead creative/boss man at Charge/Fabric) became Global Creative Director for Cannondale just over a year ago - Nick got Cannondale to move the job to him, instead of him moving to the US - this meant all the graphic side of design for Cannondale moved to Frome in Somerset and absorbed the Charge design team.
Charge isn’t dead, it’s just got its hands full designing paint jobs for Cannondale.

Interesting. Hopefully this means their Gravel bikes will eventually come to market after all.

They still exist and intend to bring new bike for 2019 but gone quiet due to overhauling.
edit - exactly as above.

What are the steel options for "just get an arkose" ? The Ribble CGR looks pretty close but I'm not really feeling the colour.

Get that Fugio. It won't take guards but at least you'll be having fun while getting soaked
-
• #7799
Rondo Ruut if you can get over the fork and the colour
-

Ohhh didnt know it couldn't take guards... guns shitty clips would work...
Looking at them, I dunno how much use they would be. My brake cables have continuous outers all the way to the brakes
