  • It’s 52t N/W chainring from china. I actually ordered a 1/8 track chainring a while ago and accidentally got this instead. Haven’t had a dropped chain despite the bumpy ‘cycle paths’ of berlin.

  • I like that a lot

  • yeh thats cool.

  • Never not great. Have to admit, I quite like what you've done with the wrap on the fork.

  • Awesome. 1” or 1+1/8” steerer? I am building something quite similar and pondering the aesthetic of chunky bmx stem.

  • Also, can someone confirm this hub (8spd) will do 10 speeds please?

  • As long as that’s the 8 speed STX not the 7 speed it will work with 10 speed.

  • I started building up something like that too! Currently waiting on some bars with slightly lower rise cause the current ones overextend the braided hose on my front brake and there's no way in hell I'm changing it. Servicing Maguras ain't no fun at all.

  • Spent most of my day off getting the tandem ready for a little tour of The Netherlands in a couple of weeks.

  • Sweet! Where are you going?

  • Can’t remember the exact stops as planned so long ago, Mrs TM wanted to go see the tulips for her 30th so we’re heading north from Rotterdam towards Alkmaar staying inland (she found a rough route recommended for seeing tulips) from there to Enkhuizen (one of my favourite towns in the world) and across the dijk to Lelystad, looping back round to Rotterdam via delft. Think we’re doing 8 days cycling average 40-50 miles a day. Hoping for good weather.

  • Sounds really good! Hope you have a good time and like you said, some good weather. 26 degrees this Monday!

  • Thanks y’all. My son really likes it and it’s rekindled his interest in cycling everywhere.

Best thing is we can go exploring places we would have struggled with on his last bike.. had skinnier tyres and more roady gearing.

@lmananimal it’s a 1inch fork. I quite like the chunky look of it and it feels really solid with the braced bars :)

@voxelwise rad! Love a Klein. Going to be awesome 😎

  • That set up looks amazing. Wish my Tandem looked half as reliable

  • Yeah neo-classics have it all.. on all my 31.8mm stemmed road bikes.
They also now have cheaper ones round the 30mark, before they only had fancy ones for double that

  • fun in the sun . Gonna go larger than 35mm I think . Stem cell bag fits nicely in middle of bull moose.

  • Sick. Would really like one of these

  • Frameset is little heavy compared to roadie which it’s replaced but much more fun with thicker tyres . Needs Wald I reckon .

  • Weight is just a number ;-)

  • Number ?

  • Dude...we talked about this....silver mudguards. No, I don't care that these work. Silver mudguards.

  • Decided on some fresh rubber.
