As per title, need a 1” Threaded headset for a new build please.

Ideally new and high end but open minded!

I was looking at these already but don’t know much about retro stuff.

Silly question probably but other than weight is this better than Tange Levin Steel Chromed NJS Headset?

Essentially I’m asking what’s the difference?

I have a campagnolo record headset that came with a new steel frame that is yet to be built up. I am swapping it out for a dura ace headset.

As far as I am aware it has been fitted once and never actually "used" in a complete bike. I anticipate removing it in the next week. Let me know if you are interested and I can send you photos if required.

I use the Tange Falcons on all threaded builds now, SJS sells them cheaply. They’re alloy cartridge bearings and look like a poor man’s Chris King. Short stack height mind you so sometimes you have to take a couple of mm off the steerer or add a spacer.
