Yeah I'm considering that too, vs just taking a bit of very light bivvy gear in a frame bag potentially.
It's all going to come down to the weather, which I'm just assuming will be 'shit' so I can be pleasantly surprised if it isn't

When I did Tan Hill 600, which is kinda like a backwards version of this, forecast looked good and then it tipped it down so hard at night I couldn't safely continue riding (the roads were flowing with so much water so I couldn't see lines, potholes, etc) so I got a hotel room in Hexham or something. Lucky because the next bit was just nothing.

I've got 4x600s in 4 weeks, this will be the 3rd one, so I will be taking as many comforts as possible. I was even thinking about using the bag drop options but then I might be stuck at the finish having to wait for my kit.
