Do we know if Vic acclimatised in Mexico or did he do the fly in at last minute thing?

I read that he acclimatised at an effective 3000m overnight by using a hypobaric device, and when he wasn't in that he was at the actual 1800m of Aguascalientes for at least a couple of weeks.
