Mechanical was not fit for purpose, given the performance goals of the watch. Besides, it's a really good quartz.
Edit: you weren't talking about the Sinn were you.

Looks lovely but their quartz movements are so loud as to be unusable. Literally wakes me up with the ticking if I wear them overnight.

But then researching it, the Movt script pisses me off! Just type out the full word lazy gits! It's not that difficult.

Buuuuut they put a quartz movement in it. Which is fine in itself but a massive miss IMO.
