want to put a strap .. how?
There's special straps for the special lugs.
But believe me you do want the cherry wood grip.
Both for the show, and for actually shooting the thing. -

Who does the golfer Nick Faldo remind me of?
Yes, Harrison Ford. Thanks!

If I bought a speedboat could I drive it up the Thames to Reading?

Why the fuck would you go to Reading?

UK head office.

No wonder they pay you so much

If I bought a speedboat could I drive it up the Thames to Reading?
Yes, but slowly. There are loads (22) of locks to negotiate, and the speed limit is something like 6kts.

On the other hand, you can have something bigger than a speed boat, all the locks up as far as Caversham are at least 35m long and 6m wide

Yes. A bit like driving a supercar on the North Circular though.

I currently drive through London and then up the M4 in a car with a 400 horsepower V8, I suspect it’s similar.
Fewer ducks, I predict.

Try cycling!

It would actually be around the same time, if of course I could cycle down the M4 without dying.
Takes around 2.5 hours to drive 40 miles, same time on the train.
No good option, basically, hence wondering about a boat.

The river is more wiggly than the road, with longer stops and even lower speed. I'd be surprised if you could make the trip inside 12 hours even if all the locks were clear and empty when you got to them.

Depends what time. Not taken a bike on the Bournemouth line, got a feeling it's some antiquated diesel service so might have less bike storage.

Move to Paddington?
-
• #96523
Yeah, don't think I've ever made a reservation for that line. Usually 4 coaches that have space for three bikes each, but I've also used the same train coming back from Basingstoke with 5/6/7 jammed in. Also since you're getting on at the start you should be fine

If the train doesn't ultimately go to Salisbury/Exeter/Bristol then you should be able to just turn up and get on, provided your train doesn't leave Waterloo during peak hour (between 1645 and 1900). Space is limited so it may help to be there early (although it will be Easter Friday so less of a problem?)

I just had a look at the tacx 4050 and they don't appear to be for 11speed? Atleast they aren't listed on the tacx website if you select 11speed. Some websites say they work with 11speed though.
Anyone know the deal with bringing a bike on Southwestern trains? On Friday going from Waterloo to Bournemouth and want to know if I need to make a bike reservation or not. Searched online the the site isn’t super clear.
