I usually go to the preview night for these (and take the next day off work) means you can try loads of stuff including the rarer stuff before they run out.

Got my pants pulled down in the Rake last night spotted they had Zehendner Monchsambacher Lagerbier but failed to ask how much it was, £9.50 for a bottle as it turns out.

I gave some homebrew to a mate recently and he gave me a bottle of this in return. Probably going to save it for my 50th later in the year !

I'm oop North. My LBS might still have some, I need check. If that was the last it was a good one though.

I entirely missed Magic Rock being bought by Kirin until I saw it mentioned in an article today about Little Creatures' new taproom in Kings Cross.

Will have to see what the impact on them will be given that they always seemed to do some more interesting beers.

What next? Cloudwater to Budweiser?

I know, that really pissed me off. Dark Arts is possibly my favourite Porter, and Cannonball is pretty good too.
No good has ever come of a small brewery being bought up, so I can see MR going the same way as Meantime et al.
