FS: Retro 26” MTB wheelset - Rigida rims/RSP hubs! - Price drop!

Got these with a Dawes MTB that I got recently, but I already had a pair of LX-hubbed Mavic 221s so these are surplus to requirements.

They are hardly used (the bike itself is/was mint!) and would be good for a retro build. The only negative is they probably need a new freehub (or maybe the current one repacking - it is very sticky, but I’m not an expert). It’s 8 speed so it might be an opportunity to upgrade.

Only asking £25 and pick up from Battersea (SW8) evenings and weekends. They are boxed so could be posted if buyer pays postage and fees.

Do you know the rough weight of the wheels? They may be an upgrade to my 90’s number, but also may not be!

I’ll stick them in the scales and get back to you!

According to my bathroom scales total weight for the wheelset is 2.5kg.

Dropping the price to £20!

Must admit I was surprised that they came out at 2.5kg - they don't feel that heavy
