Shitty photo, but here's how she's looking. Seatpost will be going down a little.
New parts since the last build:
. XL50 carbon clincher wheelset
. Fizik ArioneI still need to fit chain, cables etc. Also still waiting on a black carbon seatpost.

Are you still looking for an original fork?

+1 on the black seat post
Are you going to desticker the wheels?

Not after original forks anymore, no. The ones that were on it were not matching numbers anyway.
Nope, they are lacquered over and I really can't be bothered to spend the time removing them. They don't look great in photos, but I've gotta say they actually look quite good IRL. The skewers are red (from my previous wheelset) and I don't hate the whole set up as much as I thought!

Looks pretty wild but they might be growers
How come you chose that particular wheelset or did u just stumble across them? I just sold a nice pair of zondas that would have looked nice

The wheels have real crazy panels of carbon rather than the traditional 3k woven, and with the decals, it actually looks quite cool! Once finished, I'll get some better pics.
I'm usually the first to remove decals from wheels, but I feel even if they were easy to remove, I'd still leave them on.
They came up on social media when I wasn't even looking, but they were carbon, Campagnolo freehub and near me, for a decent price. Ticked all the boxes!

Looks stunning and nice work with the snaps. I’ve got the same frame but haven’t ridden it as much as I should

Love your story James i know hw you feel I'm on my 2nd build on my master .love it.
I'm also not sure!
When placing the hoods on the bars, I was sure to put them at the same height, but they deffo don't look even in the photo.
The ground was really uneven, I had to crop the photo quite a bit to make it look straight.
I'll have a look at the hoods tonight.
