Loving that!

True.

This looks fantastic. Love the muted, fully black groupset/wheels/finishing kit so the frame's colour can shine.

Beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Looking into going 3x9 with 2x Campa 9 speed levers (early vintage).
Would this work at all?The front derailleur I guess needs to be switched to something 3x specific.
Would 9 speed tiagra work?

The front derailleur is the dumb bit that is told what to do by the smart bit, the shifter.
If the shifter doesn’t have enough cable pull to move the front derailleur across three rings it doesn’t matter what shifter you use.

Kinda thought that at Bespoke last year. I see it all on Instagram regularly that nothing really appreciated anymore. Apart from that English from NAHBS

Does the Campagnolo shifters is ratchet for the left hand one? like have minor click instead of big click for each shift?
If so, it's possible to get it to work.

Down the rabbit hole of Riding the Spine (including gear reviews from 2006 - at least 8 gears and V-brakes recommended) - awesome stuff.

I think that this is a pretty cool idea, from Simworks.

It’s been done before, Blackburn I think?

Thanks, hadn't seen it previously.
This one is made by Nitto. -

Yeah I own the previous version of the Potluck, SimWorks since added the adjustable doodads to that one also. It’s a good rack.

• #21242
Nice, Nitto makes some good stuff.

I always have to click twice or thrice to move it up to the big ring/small ring. So I guess that would mean minor clicks? :)
-
• #21244
Yeah, trim to be precise! The older shifter doesn’t really have a set click (ratchet friction like the left hand shimano bar end shifter) mean in theory it may able to run a triple if there’s enough to pull the cable through all 3 chainring.

Spotted this in the bike racks at work. I figured it belonged either here or in the 'how not to lock your bike' thread, but the racks and dyno tipped it. Not sure how functional the (fake?) leather bikepacking bags are, mind...

Still my fave, this iteration is fantastic!
