It'll be a few years before I can officially join this thread, but thought I should give my father some credit. He's 88 and has a severe visual impairment (registered blind), but bought himself a scooter last year to go to the shops each day to try to keep fit. That's all.
I ran maybe the first (not sure I'm new here) pop up Bike Check Point here last week, made it onto local BBC Radio and had a queue all day of mum's, dad's, kids wanting tyres blown up and clicky gears tuned. Life is good.....
That's a nice thing to do. Must have been exhausting!
