Yeah, that's the problem with vintage - I always hated the sound of big muffs back in the days as one of our pals had a vintage 70s one which sounded like utter dogshit. Nothing creamy about it, really digital sounding. Anyway, he opened it up and it turns out the only thing original about it was the box - all the guts had been ripped out and replaced. If I'm buying, I'm buying a known quantity, new.
I'll have a listen around. My inclination is always that 'all in one' pedals sound great on paper but often fail in real life, but this one might be different.
Sorry to hear about the JCM800 btw. That was the only Marshall I ever liked back at our old rehearsal studio, but I guess it's the exact same problem - you never know how original they are, and how much of the charm or otherwise has come from weird mods.

I'm going to chime in here with another recommendation for Moose Custom Electronics in Dublin here. He makes the best fuzz around including my custom 3-in-1 fuzz pedal which is an absolute monster!
I have no idea, YouTube is your friend!
He seems a bit of a pedal nutcase, can't imagine him screwing that up... I think I may have seen a That Pedal Show episode where they put it through its paces...
PS Accuracy is a pretty vague term when it comes to those old Muffs, identical pedals can sound very different...
