Scoble just had a hiccup attack

Too high?

what does she weigh? I'd use 50/60 with that width at my weight 68/69kg.
lower pressure is relatively risk free with tubeless too and esp on road
-
• #2383
She weighs 53kg
They're not tubeless, the Gp5000s tubeless variety only comes in 700c.
Ill knock the pressure down a fair bit and see if that helps

60-70 psi
I only put 70 in my GP4000 25C rear, and I'm literally twice her weight.

has anyone smashed the dropout of their ISEN and if so, what is the replacement part?
-
• #2386
Do you mean the drive side hanger? It is a paragon machine works one.
-
• #2388
Check the imprinted number against what you have, but looks about right
-
• #2389
Yeah, although if he's got a dm mech now you can get a dm specific hanger and don't need the little adaptor.
-
• #2390
Yeah that would be first port of call. She test rode carens didn't she? That's running 40 psi (albeit it on different tyres).

The cages are always slammed as low and as close to each other as possible to allow for the biggest frame bag and bottle combo you can squeeze in there.

After TORMAC-gate I refuse to watch anything on nycnc ever again and have cancelled my subscription! (I haven't, and I'd still have a TORMAC)

Anyone fit a 47 650b byway tyre in their Isen?

Anyone fit a 47 650b byway tyre in their Isen?
Early chat on this thread for the first batch was that the 47mm WTB horizon wouldn't fit in the framset. I'm guessing this is still the case. The website suggests the larger framesets with 650b max out at 42mm

That paint job is just a dream.

True. I thought I saw someone with what looked like byways in theres. must be wrong.
35mm g-ones - wouldn't go much wider.
My girlfriend has now done several rides on her new Isen and is very much enjoying most aspects...
She is however getting excessive feedback from the front end and a really bumpy ride through the bars does anyone else find that on their Isens? She's currently running 28c 650b Gp5000s so overall diameter quite a bit smaller than a 700c set.
I can't figure out why the ride is so bumpy. She's just got alloy bars and stems so wonder if upgrading to carbon would make a difference? You can visibly see the bike bounce around though so not sure components will make much difference...
