I've been to the cafe a couple of times, it's nice but pricey. A nice location for a mid-ride stop, it has good views too.
No idea about the off road cycling facilities, although they used to have a cross race there and there are always kids playing around on the berms by the cafe.

Worth stopping at. Miss having the nice food out on display since they moved upstairs.
