• Advice on where available (bespoke?), or offers for road/audax forks, new or used, 270mm min. straight steerer, disc with mudguard eyelets. Lightweight carbon preferably but they don’t appear to exist ?

  • What axle to crown do you need?

  • 38cm a-c with approx. 7cm rake at present, for normal road wheels, 700c with max 32 mm tyres and thin/ pdw guards.

  • Hm closest you can get is 395 axle to crown with either Van nicholas or Fixation.

Or full custom from wound up if you feeling spenny.

  • Ah yes. Forgot about those.

  • Thanks both, I think the Pioggia will be the best bet for this re-build?

I quite like it as it is but the solid axle rohloff is being pensioned out to an occasional heavy duty tourer so makes sense to go disc from now.

  • I am LF also.
sorry @Lucerne to hijack ur post

  • I have just messaged @Lucerne
I have a green fork from a new Orbea Gain that I got from eBay. It weighs 460g’ish. Got quoted a bad price for a respray so pretty happy to let it go.

  • Let's see if Lucerne wants or not, then msg me please.
    sorry again Lucerne

  • Thanks for the offer homingmissle
I’m now sorted with Pioggia, the orbea would also have been a good choice though.

  • if you agree, please send some pics/details via PM.

thanks and sorry Lucerne for all those replies here.
