Just get a 52/53 easy.

Can't you take the bike you have now as a reference?

Your torso isn't that long, I've got 61cm inseam but I'm 185cm tall.
Bike fitting is starting with the right size frame, and then balancing efficiency and comfort around your flexibility.

Depends on what position you want (or can) achieve. Lower=longer

My current bike is 52.7 cm long in top tube and all my previous bike wasn't longer than 53cm. However, i'm going to order one custom frame and they suggest me with 54.5 cm, so I am reluctant.
and what do you mean by lower = longer?
Thank you

Get a bike fit, then send the results of that to the frame builder. Especially as it’s a custom frame.
Hello everyone,
I am curious about my torso length, i am 170cm with 80 cm inseam. I have a torso length of 60 cm (this is obtain by subtracting inseam from sternal nothch(140cm). Two of the builders said that I have long torso. I should like the bike with 50-51 cm seat tube and 53.5 to 54.5 top tube.
I am wondering whether the top tube length is too long for my body. I never ride the bike that come with that length of top tube before.
Thank you for your advice
