Yeah of course, I work in a science lab. You just reminded me that, when I used to work here before, there was a stainless funnel in the acid digestion lab I used from time to time instead of my V70. I don’t currently have a V70 but I do have some filters.
TLDR; You just enabled coffee to happen next week.

I'm looking to get a french press travel mug anyone got one they can recommend?

Depends on what you mean by 'travel', and possibly a bit more than a mug at 1L, but we had the MSR French Press for Torino Nice and it didn't disappoint.

Ordered 2pm Tuesday, arrived on my desk 11am the next day! Can't wait to try them as they smell amazing but I thought I'd have a few more days to get through my old beans. Top effort.

Lets imagine I lived in London and used the underground everyday.
That kind of travel.

Can decide between the Moccamaster and Wilfa Svart Classic. Can anyone suggest which is better?

I have the stainless one from bodum and it's been solid.

I’ve had my delonghi k79 for 7 years and it’s broke. I don’t make espressos so don’t need a really fine grind (and am a bit skint). Is there anything else better at its price point or shall I just rebuy?

Anyone else tried Omotesando Koffee? Tried a cup of pourover there today which was a bit expensive but delicious. Natural process Pacamara (I think from El Salvador?) which I haven't had in a while, and now I regret changing my mind at the last minute and not including a natural Nicaraguan in my last order from Hasbean. Think I'm going to go next time I have a day off and take my time over a couple of cups from different beans; today I was with my wife who couldn't care less about coffee and the feeling of 'I want to go' was palpable.

Darkwoods have released some Chinese beans. Apparently a growing scene, worth dabbling or too early? Any thoughts from within the industry @StevePeel

When they've taken out the coffee machines at work and you've finally cracked and decided to get a V60 and keep grounds in the fridge. That day you're not thinking straight when you leave for work and bring the grounds in a day earlier than the V60 is expected to arrive, for some reason, but left the filter papers behind. You don't panic; you're a day ahead and this wasn't going to happen anyway. Then arrive at work and find the V60 sat on your desk, delivered a day earlier than expected. And you can't drink your coffee. That.

They've just installed a bean to cup espresso machine in my work and my Aeropress is all filtered and coffee'd up, now I have to chose what to have #firstworldproblems.

Improvise.
Use an envelope.
Or some kitchen paper.
Macguyver your way out of this. -

^ 10hr full kit hike on Monday, first 5hrs looking forward to a lunchtime coffee hit... carrying jetboil, rivers drip filter, had pre-weighed coffee in an old nuun tab tube all set. Opened my coffee as I was boiling the water... realise I had forgotten to grind the beans when I weighed them. #heartbreak
