  • I have never had a bike with perfect chainline.... I think it is a myth

  • come on guys, it's not THAT mythical or impossible

  • come on guys, it's not THAT mythical or impossible

    Not impossible, just pointless.

  • The digested read:

Some people think chainline is really really important.

Others think it all a bit of foo.

OP has started two threads about this.

Wants Phil hubs but doesn't want to buy their cog, for some reason.

I've been running a phil cog for a while on my Royces. Why on earth are you so resistant to buying one? It's only the price of a meal and a couple of beers, or a half a meal somewhere dead nice.

  • yeah well maybe I will try one if the DA that I bought brand new in store for £10 isn't cutting it.

I have to admit you seem to dine quite elaborately :)

  • Resuscitating this thread after 8 years...
I have a fresh Phil Wood hub, but I can't find anyone that sells a new Phil Wood 16t or 15t sprocket in London, so I have two options: DA or EAI (I have both on 16t already). Which of the two do you guys recommend on a Phil Wood hub?
