no, but that's clever : )

I do think the gun grey could work, but since I'm supposed to be buying a house soon, this might is probably the last extravagant bike purchase for a while. Sad times.

Love the cable colours of this!

Finally odd colour cabling is back on trend...

Some bits and bobs to be changed, but otherwise I love riding it. [cransket and levers mainly]
Obviously, it is a fakenago. My best friend gave it to me as a birthday joke after a serious injury. But the Columbus tubing and the nicely thought geometry are real for sure.

guys, what would you do if you had a vintage mtb with super twitchy handling, put a wider bar? shorter stem? what?
i also cant have full extension of the legs with 20cm seatpost showing, gota get a 26.8 with a bit more cm
its for this bike:

Superb work
How did the broken axle come out in the end?
-
• #122812
With great difficulty. The driveside came out fine but the nds was bonded in. I eventually managed to press it out in a vice but not until after I'd mangled the arm a bit bashing it with a hammer.

• #122813
Even though it sounds like a struggle, it’s definetly worth it as they are decent crank arms
The axles are ok, untill they snap 😂
Pretty sure that won’t happen again though!

Let's hope not! 😬

New new road bike (usually my bikes are second hand). Got the frame for a killer deal and was able to transfer most parts from my previous road bike. Could not resist getting the Basso stem.

Yeah that works.

Could not resist getting the Basso stem.
And there's no turning back now. I think I'd have left enough steerer for a normal ~40mm stack height stem just in case of either future sale or getting too old to ride something that slammed.

Getting too old or too far

• #122820
Stunning looking bike. I do agree with tester on cutting the steerer so short though.
-
• #122821
As much as cutting the steerer was perhaps a little short sighted, it does look great. Undoubtedly the stem wouldn't have looked the same with a spacer stack on top, and the bike wouldn't have looked the same without that stem. Just pick up yoga or something

Picked up an £18 eBay purchase this morning,
Looks like a 1979 px10 super competition.
dodgy respray but a rather nicely made frame .

£18?!
I'd probably have gone to twenty
Just beware that the ones he linked to are the flat-backed ones for Vitus 979s etc.
