• It looks like a tidy car but I don't get it. It was a road car, then converted to a race car to run in the Pirelli Cup, then converted back into a road car. It's not a proper Cup car as they were built as race cars by the factory, it was then raced but now shows no signs of being a race car and instead looks like a tidy, standard C2. It has non of the features that make a Carrera Cup car desirable. Then again, looking on Pistonheads, regular 964's are priced at £40K < and they've done 100K miles plus so maybe it's not badly priced given mileage and history.
The problem is, I'd imagine (I can't find any adverts for them) a "fucked one" is still going to be 25k. Then, I'm sure to get it up to your standard and spec could easily cost the same again.

  • Manual, coupe C2 964's are silly money, this one is arguably cheap for the mileage - likely due to its road car/race car/road car history.

Prices for all Porsche are coming down now, however, so it's absolutely not the time to buy anything unless it's a stupendous bargain.
