What are you getting? Some big slicks will be great in the woods and comfy on the road. No need for knobblies unless you’re really heading for the trails

I ride a lot of gravel and forest trails on Schwalbe Big Apples which are very close to completey slick. Unless you're going to ride through a lot of mud a lot of the time, you'll be able to get very far with wide tyres with low pressure.

Cycle to work voucher should be sorted early next week so will put my order in with Evans immediately. Looking forward to taking the woods route home from work twice, realising its bloody hard work and putting slick tyres on and going back to the same commute i've done for the last 3 years
