have rockshox sid 120 29er forks I'm looking to shift - thru axle, non-boost. 200 quid.
recently serviced, work nicely, not impossible to work on yaself

Tempting, but I'm in the Netherlands so wouldn't want you to go through the hassle of shipping. And I want to ride my rigids a while more, maybe.

How bad of an idea is getting second hand squishy forks? Which brands are reasonably serviceable for the endeavoring home mechanic on a budget if an overhaul would be necessary?
