  • Greatly enjoying this classic tough solar G Shock. Not owned a digital watch in many years, the ease of use is amazing. V pleasing.

  • The 5610 is such a good watch. The only thing about it, and this probably applies to all digital LCD watches to be fair, is the legibility at a glance in less than ideal lighting conditions. I’m used to divers watches that you can read at a glance in any light and at any angle.

Still, you can’t argue with them, especially for the money. Will probably run for decades without attention.

  • Nope.

The guy it bought it off was elbow deep fixing a Ferrari engine whilst wearing a vintage GMT Master when I collected it, so it's safe to assume this one had an equally tough life

  • I want to be sick....

  • Sentimental watches don’t count in a collection so you can buy the Speedy & Milgauss guilt free. Which Top Time do you have, the funky square chrono with slanty pushers? Guilty pleasure of mine.

  • 1016?

    Lovely.

  • Pics of the Top Time next Friday. Love Top Times.

  • Just perfection. The only thing that could make this watch any better is if it was a Space Dweller.

  • Yes 1016 certified june 1962, exclamation point version but nobody seems to know why some had this point below the six. Maybe some one here may have more knowledge

  • Or had submariner on the dial and it too would be worth $1,000,000!!!

  • I have a bargain milgauss for sale if you manage to justify it. Preowned but unworn. And as many on here know I am partial to a Moonwatch so can obvs help there as well.

  • I dunno, Space Dweller is just so cool. Just the phrase 'Space Dweller'. It makes my imagination tingle like no other watch model name that I've heard of, ever. Regardless, congrats on one of the best watches of all time.

  • Agreed - it's a trade off I'm happy to make but one of the main things I miss about my mechanicals is when it's 4am, slightly pissed, completely black room, not wearing my glasses, peering at my divers watch and being able to tell the time, albeit fuzzily. With digital watches I have to find my glasses or squint hardcore. Still. Nice to have a variety!

  • just dwellin' in space yaw

  • $4750 watch, $400 movement

    ????

  • Sachs in all style no substance shocker

  • Aw come on. He's gone with an easy to read font that people are accustomed to. It's hardly a disastrous design decision.

  • bUt AriaL iS eAsY tO reAd

  • To be honest I doubt he had anything to do with it, he’s just let them stick his logo on it.

Arial is objectively bad and wrong though.

  • I wish I understood things like this.
